Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 29, 2026

Your privacy matters. This policy describes what information ForTable collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ForTable (“ForTable,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and profile image, typically provided through a sign-in provider when you create an account.
  • Uploaded data — the files you upload (CSV, JSON, XML) and the dashboards, calculated fields, and settings you create from them.
  • Usage information — basic activity such as features used, pages visited, and timestamps, used to operate and improve the Service.
  • Device and log data — IP address, browser type, and similar technical details collected automatically.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Process your files to generate dashboards, charts, and AI-assisted answers.
  • Authenticate you and secure your account.
  • Enforce our Terms and prevent abuse.
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your files are encrypted at rest and transmitted over encrypted connections. We use reputable cloud infrastructure and object storage providers to host data and apply technical and organizational measures to protect it.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for the data you choose to upload and share.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to operate the Service — for example, with infrastructure, hosting, storage, and authentication providers that process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.

6. Public and Shared Dashboards

When you make a dashboard public or share it via a link, the data displayed in that dashboard becomes viewable by anyone with the link (subject to any password you set). You control what to share and can change a dashboard’s visibility or revoke a link at any time.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Uploaded files and dashboards are retained according to your plan’s limits and history settings. You may delete your dashboards and files, and we will remove them from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to backups and legal obligations.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also delete your account at any time.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as theme), and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties for sign-in, hosting, storage, and AI processing. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies. We share only the information necessary for them to perform their functions.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
